Where am I?
Homepage
Bienvenidos a la clase de espanol. This year promises to be busy and challenging, yet interesting.
While studying vocabulary and grammar, students will be developing their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. There will be opportunities to increase cultural understanding. Students will acquire and practice concepts through a variety of methods; audio-lingual, grammar-translation, communicative, et. al. while being presented with materials orally, in writing, visually and kinesthetically.
REQUIREMENTS
Students will be issued a text book. This text book is to be covered at all times and brought to every class session.
Students in Espanol I and II will purchase a workbook. The workbook
should be clearly marked with the student's name and brought to each
class.
Students in Espanol II and III are strongly encouraged to have a Spanish/English dictionary and a 501 Spanish Verb book.
Students are advised to have a separate section or notebook--one that accomodates 3 hole punched sheets and contains a pocket.
Students will need writing paper. Work may be completed in pencil or black or blue ink--no markers.
Students are expected to complete and turn work in on time. There will
be an assignment each day although a student may be able to complete
this assignment in its entirety during the class period.
GRADING
Quizzes and tests are announced in advance.
A student absent the day prior to a quiz or test is expected to take this quiz or test on the announced date.
